The Tortoise AI Infrastructure ETF (TCAI) primarily seeks to achieve long-term growth in investment capital, with a secondary goal of generating current income. This is accomplished through an actively managed portfolio composed of companies essential for building and sustaining the foundational infrastructure of artificial intelligence. The fund specifically invests in data centers engineered for AI capabilities, alongside technology and energy infrastructure enterprises that provide the specialized computing, cooling, and electrical solutions indispensable for AI systems. Portfolio selections are guided by comprehensive fundamental research. To be considered, companies must exhibit significant engagement with AI-critical infrastructure, which is assessed by the proportion of their revenue or capital investments allocated to assets, products, or services vital for AI output. The fund retains the flexibility to invest in international securities, including American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), across all market capitalization sizes, and may utilize diverse hedging strategies and derivative instruments like options, futures, and swaps to manage market exposure or enhance income.
Distribution yield and SEC yield use different methodologies. Payouts may include income, capital gains, or return of capital.
