The Touchstone Sands Capital US Select Growth ETF (TSEL) manages a select portfolio, typically holding 25 to 35 US-based large and mid-sized companies chosen for their growth prospects. Although it may consider non-U.S. companies listed on American exchanges, it generally bypasses American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs). TSEL's investment process incorporates its unique environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research. This involves a granular, company-specific assessment of ESG factors relevant to each firm's operating environment, industry, and geographical location, pinpointing both potential risks and opportunities. Rather than relying on generic, overarching ESG ratings, the fund prioritizes integrating those ESG aspects that demonstrably influence value creation. It's worth noting that a company's inclusion isn't strictly contingent on high ESG scores; robust fundamental analysis can still justify investment.
