The Sapient Quality Select ETF (SQS) is an actively managed fund with the primary aim of delivering compelling long-term overall returns. Its strategy involves strategically investing in companies poised to benefit from significant, enduring themes and transformative shifts in the global landscape. The fund's process begins by identifying key catalysts – such as broad trends or systemic changes – that are expected to drive sustained growth across various areas like the economy, labor markets, capital flows, or productivity. These catalysts might include groundbreaking technological advancements, evolving demographic patterns, new governmental policies, or dynamic market conditions. SQS deliberately avoids sectors anticipated to be negatively impacted by these trends, instead meticulously selecting companies that are well-positioned to capitalize on them. It seeks out companies exhibiting strong quality and growth characteristics across diverse sectors. The selection methodology incorporates both quantitative analysis and in-depth fundamental research, employing a bottom-up approach to thoroughly assess each company's financial robustness, core business strengths, and management efficacy. Beyond individual stocks, the portfolio also maintains the flexibility to invest in other exchange-traded funds. As an actively managed vehicle, the fund manager retains complete autonomy to modify portfolio holdings and adjust the specific criteria for 'quality' and 'growth' at any given moment, ensuring responsiveness to evolving market dynamics.
