The State Street My2035 Corporate Bond ETF operates with an active management style, specifically targeting corporate debt slated to mature in 2035. This fund is designed to liquidate and return all remaining capital to investors around December 15, 2035. Its core objectives are to generate substantial current income while simultaneously safeguarding investment principal. The fund achieves this through a sophisticated investment strategy that blends a risk-aware, broad market (top-down) assessment with detailed, individual security selection (bottom-up) driven by thorough fundamental analysis. This methodical approach enables the portfolio to concentrate investments in the most promising sectors and bond issuers. This ETF is part of the State Street MyIncome family, a series of funds with set maturity dates. These offerings provide investors with a flexible tool for constructing personalized bond ladders, which helps in navigating interest rate fluctuations, managing cash flow consistency, and addressing specific liquidity requirements.
