The ICPY fund actively seeks undervalued global equities. It targets companies trading below their estimated intrinsic value, specifically those demonstrating insider purchases or engaging in opportunistic share buybacks. Insiders include corporate officers and controlling shareholders, whose transactions are verified through public filings. The investment advisor utilizes a rigorous, quantitative, decision-rule-based process to identify securities. This process is supplemented by additional screens that evaluate liquidity, the authenticity of insider purchases, and the intrinsic value of prospective companies. A systematic buy-sell discipline is also central to portfolio management. This discipline leverages a proprietary, multifactor quantitative comparison system, informed by both internal models and qualitative value analysis, to regularly refresh the portfolio by prioritizing higher-scoring investments and divesting lower-scoring ones. The fund ensures diversification across sectors, regions, and market capitalizations, typically capping individual holdings at 2% of the portfolio. The fund's core objective is to achieve long-term capital growth.
Distribution yield and SEC yield use different methodologies. Payouts may include income, capital gains, or return of capital.
